Changing British Attitudes:
Changing British Attitudes started with the Corn Laws. The Corn Laws didn't want the farmer (from Britain) to run out of business by putting taxes on traded good. Around in 1846 Corn Laws were changed, that means all traded goods were tax free! Also the rail roads opened up and the country's got together. So it would be fair for everyone else.Even some people were starting to feel that the colonies was to much money to pay and to own!! So after sometime Britain was bored/tired of Canada because they couldn't support themselves. So Canada was by themselves and felt like it was "bad news" because the Fenain Raids, so then the Canadians were in fear... And the Canadians need to help themselves because the British were fighting/ kicking then out. And then Canada and the Americans were not scared because they got united (joined together.) And that's my little summary about "Changing British Attitudes."
